Before booking a Voice Training Course you may wish to have a confidential
appraisal of your voice in a 1 to 1 voice assessment & consultation session with voice guru
Rod Lucas from your home on the phone or online.
Rod will critically assess your voicing skills for different
voice-over applications. He'll e mail various voice scripts for
you to read in order to then evaluate your personal voice
abilities for voice-over work. You may then wish to take things
further with a face to face voice over training course at a
later date. 1 hour Voice Assessment £85
(no vat). Before the voice over assessment and evaluation,
Rod Lucas will send you 4 scripts to read and then on the day of
the assessment they'll form part of the hour long evaluation.
Rod Lucas will give you an honest professional
opinion of your skills including help, guidance and advice. Telephone and online
evaluation assessments take 1 hour, allowing you to discuss your ambitions for
getting into voice overs and find out whether you've got what it takes by
reading through scripts. Rod will coach you and help move you on.

Join us for a 1 to 1
Voice-Over-Taster with voice guru Rod Lucas. You'll learn how to
read voice over scripting of all
kinds from TV commercials to story reads and many more. You'll also get a really good
feel of whether you want to make a career as a voice over artist,
full or part time. Rod will also offer help, guidance and advice.
(This voice over taster session includes a short sample CD of your voice session.)
This Voice Over Taster can be done online and telephone
at anytime to suit.
3 Hour taster session on
telephone or online including 1 hour break to practice. |

and delivery for using your vocal tones in voice
overs. I'll establish if you're in with a good
chance of getting into commercials, jingles, book
reading and other voice media including TV and
Radio. You may then wish to continue with a voice
over training course with me, either online or face
to face. Once payment has been cleared I can then
forward some scripts for your 60 minute consultation
and appraisal with me. £85 no VAT (no other charges
apply). If you wish to move things on, please
contact me and pay. We can then make a date and time
to evaluate your voice for voice overs, perhaps for
a career change."
All voice over
appraisals are conducted on the telephone or online
via Skype etc. 1 hour £85 no VAT. Times to suit you
best, including evenings & weekends.

Although I was nervous when the phone
call first started, Rod quickly
put me at ease, chatting to me as if we
already knew each other . I
learned far, far more in the Assessment
than I anticipated, and it
involved much more than me just reading
a few scripts and Rod
commenting on the techniques. We chatted
about the best environment
for recordings, how to find assignments
etc. and Rod was full of
fascinating tips and insights about the
whole Voice Over business in
general.
Rod gave me a thorough debrief after I
had read through each script -
and I found him to be tough but tactful
! Whilst the Assessment more
than whetted my appetite, I was
impressed that there was absolutely no
pressure put on me to book further
courses.
I would recommend that anyone, whatever
their interest in Voice Over

Hi Rod
Thank you very much for your evaluation
session on Saturday! I loved every
moment of it and really enjoyed learning
from you. You were attentive and
encouraging and most importantly you
gave a detailed assessment of my
strengths and weaknesses and made me
ponder about my voice for hours after

Sorry for the delay in getting back. I
found my voice assessment most helpful
and I intend to move my life on. I was
in 2 minds before calling you Rod, but I
have to say you helped me to make a
slight career change. As advised I'll
keep the voice overs as part time and
enjoy voice over work as and when. I
going through the different scripting.
It was a fascinating hour on the
telephone. Many thanks. I'll hear
adverts in a very different way. I
thoroughly recommend your voice
